Now Then magazine is currently recruiting writers in the following sections:

This section will aim to cover unsigned and independent music from Sheffield and around the UK.

We are aiming to cover all contemporary music forms so long as they are independently labeled, or unsigned and of course of the highest musical standard.

The section will feature album, demo and E.P. reviews along side interviews, relevant music news and live reviews of gigs and club nights in Sheffield.

Whatever you music inclination is we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for two main stories covering important local issues and events, articles for this section should be of 700 words.
·We are also looking for a series of 300 words articles as a kind of brief local new hot spots. An update if you will. So if you know of anything coming up that might be briefly described in 300 words, send it over.

We’re looking for articles that cover a national scope but still have issues relevant to a Sheffield perspective. These articles should probably be issue rather than event orientated and should be 700 words in length.

An opinion piece on any issue or idea that you feel should be receiving more coverage, articles for this section should be 700 words. Have a rant!

We’re looking for short stories of 700 words, any poetry or other creative submissions are also welcome.

Art Section: We’re looking for 700 word reviews of local independent artists or galleries which are creating innovative and interesting work.
